Parafix and 3M recently communicated with its customers to find out which parts of their increasing range of electronics products were of most interest. To make the survey more fun, a prize of £100 worth of Supercheque vouchers was made available to the first name out of the hat.
Sarah Barrett, of major EMS provider Axiom Manufacturing of Newport was the lucky winner and received the vouchers as well as registering her interest in EMI/RFI shielding, high performance bonding solutions, labels and thermally and electrically conductive materials.
Sarah, a Senior NPI Buyer, said “In my role I need to be aware of new product solutions and was therefore happy to register my interest in the specific technologies I am interested in”,and of her good fortune added “I’m really surprised, I don’t usually win anything but this has come at a useful time as I’m looking to do some DIY on my house.”
Of the survey, Parafix Commercial Manager, Steve Barwick commented “Like most people, I receive an awful lot of unwanted spam in my inbox, but at the same time think it is an easy way to receive information and updates of things that I am interested in, therefore if we can find out from our customers their exact needs, we can tailor specific product communications to them.”
