  • About epoxy tape

Our epoxy tape consists of either a thermosetting rubber resin or acrylic adhesive with a flexible and conformable film backing for easy handling and application. They offer solder and puncture resistance, high dielectric strength and UL recognition for flame retardancy at temperatures up to 155°C.

Epoxy tape is designed to require fewer wraps to meet dielectric requirements, compared to typical glass cloth tapes. They are typically used for applications such as wrapping capacitors, relays, coils and transformers and holding in fractional horsepower shaded-pole motors, arbour-wound coils and wire harnesses. Utilising our range of converting capabilities we can offer epoxy electrical insulation tape in custom width and length rolls or in custom shapes and final presentations.

    Epoxy tape characteristics:

    • Good electrical properties after elongation
    • Printable
    • Solvent resistant
    • Flame retardant
    • Available in a range of colours and thicknesses
