  • About conductive fabric over foam

Conductive fabric over foam products consist of Laird plated conductive fabrics and foams wrapped to create soft, reliable and repeatable EMI shielding gaskets and complex die cuts.

Fabric over foam products are available in a wide range of shapes, sizes and profiles cut to length, with standard or conductive acrylic based adhesives. They have a shielding effectiveness of >100dB across a wide spectrum of frequencies.

    Conductive fabric over foam characteristics:

    • Breathable options
    • Performs under very high and low temperatures
    • Flame retardant (UL recognised per UL94 V0)
    • Abrasion resistant
    • RoHS compliant
    • EcoGreenâ„¢ versions are halogen-free
    • Extremely low compression forces of the urethane foam core allows for use of lighter materials
    • Available in nickel/copper and tin/copper to ensure galvanic compatibility with a wide variety of materials
    • Custom options available
