  • About vinyl electrical tape

Vinyl electrical tape has a flexible backing, excellent electrical insulating properties and high dielectric strength. The aggressive rubber adhesive of vinyl tape performs well over a range of temperatures. Electrical tapes also they offer resistance to moisture, UV, abrasion, corrosion, alkalies and acids.

Vinyl electrical tapes are used for primary insulation up to 600 volts, including wire harnessing, degaussing coils and high-voltage cables. They are also used in marking applications, ensuring fast identification of electrical phases, leads, piping and safety areas. Utilising our range of converting capabilities we can offer vinyl insulating tapes in custom width and length rolls or in custom shapes and final presentations.

    Vinyl tape characteristics:

    • Fade resistant
    • Excellent adhesion and cold weather performance
    • Available in a range of colours for colour coding applications
    • Available in a range of thicknesses
    • UL510 flame retardant
    • Excellent mechanical strength and abrasion resistance
