Parafix were delighted to be invited to a sneak preview of 3M’s new Customer Innovation Centre, at their UK head quarters in Bracknell.
3M are a global diversified company with operations in more than 65 countries. Their culture of innovation has led to the development of more than 55,000 products and their Innovation Centre showcases this innovation and the broad range of industries in which it has reached.
They have invested more than £2million in the new and improved Centre, which will be used to demonstrate to customers their unusual solutions and 3M’s way of thinking. The Centre will also be open to local school children to encourage enthusiasm in science – based careers.
Parafix are one of only twelve Transnational Preferred Converters for 3M and we were invited to a tour of the new centre prior to its official opening in September by English physicist and former rock musician, Professor Brian Cox.
As always, we were impressed with the examples of 3M’s innovative problem solving capabilities. The Innovation Centre also holds facilities for meetings, which are available to Parafix to use with our own customers. Contact us here if you are interested in learning more about 3M and their high performance adhesive products.
