This month we celebrated 25 years of service from Commercial Manager, Steve Barwick. Steve’s commitment and efforts were recognised in an informal presentation where he received a gift from Parafix for his valued contribution to the company.
Steve has put his hand to many roles at Parafix, starting as a despatch co-ordinator, back when we wrote out triplicate delivery notes for goods we had just made! The internal sales desk was his next stop, followed by regional, then electronics selling roles out on the road. Steve was then asked to manage the Customer Services Team, later becoming Sales Manager and then a move into his current position as Commercial Manager.
Steve commented on his milestone: "25 years is a long time but you wonder where the time goes. Advances in the materials, the technology and our capabilities has meant constant change over that period. The opportunity to be involved in new product development across the range of our customers’ industries is always intriguing".
