Last Friday saw the final game of the Parafix Sussex Senior Challenge Cup, played at Brighton & Hove Albion’s Amex Stadium.
Our congratulations go to Eastbourne Borough for their 1-0 win against Worthing.
Eastbourne lifted the Parafix Sussex Senior Challenge Cup for the third time in their history, following an eventful game in which Nathaniel Pinney scored the only goal after carving through Worthing 's defence.
Worthing fought back fiercely but were unable to find a goal.
Colin Wills, Director at Parafix, commented: “It gives us great pride to sponsor an event which draws such enthusiasm and passion from players and supporters alike. Both Eastbourne and Worthing played a great game and we wish them and all other teams involved the best of luck for next year’s Parafix Sussex Senior Challenge Cup”.
