This month we celebrated 25 years of service from Samples & Tooling Coordinator Andy Haggis. Andy’s commitment and efforts were recognised in an informal presentation where he received a gift from Parafix for his valued contribution to the company.
Andy began his time at Parafix as a Machine Operator, later moving into Tooling and R&D roles before moving into his current position.
Andy plays an active part in company activities, having played for the company football team and golf society over the years. He also took part in a Parafix sponsored velodrome event, in which he won the Parafix mini tournament.
Andy commented: “I have enjoyed my time at Parafix and made some great friends along the way. I enjoy the variety of new jobs I see and the flexibility of working on different projects, as well as the occasions when I get to visit toolmakers to see how our tools are made. I can’t believe I have been here for 25 years!”
Parafix has a history of very low staff turnover and see this as a strength in the adhesive tape converting industry, due to the technical expertise required. This loyalty and dedication from employees has helped Parafix achieve many successes during our 40+ years.
