Parafix is proud to announce we are celebrating our 50th anniversary.
Parafix is a converter and a distributor of self adhesive tapes, foams, films, foils and other flexible materials, celebrating 50 years of innovation. Founded in Lancing, West Sussex, in 1969, Parafix now employs over 200 employees across Europe.
You may not even know it, but you likely come in touch with Parafix products every day: whether they are holding together components in the electronics you use, your car, or, hopefully less frequently, through a variety of our medical products.
With a strong commitment to our community, we support various charities, including Chestnut Tree House, educational institutions, like Sir Robert Woodard Academy and University of Chichester, and sports clubs, like Sussex County Cricket Club and Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club.
“It is testament to the strength of the business, that we have maintained our position as one of Europe’s leading adhesive tape converters for such a long period of time. Our continuous investment in our team and our capabilities, coupled with growing applications in our target markets ensures the future also looks very exciting,” explains Parafix’s UK’s Director and General Manager, Steve Barwick.
Parafix’s owner, Mike Punter, added, “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Shipley family for their vision in setting up this wonderfully creative business, along with everyone at Parafix for their dedication and continued loyalty. Due to technical expertise required in the adhesive tape converting industry, our high staff retention rates enable us to always go the extra mile.
“We would also like to thank all our stakeholders, including our customers, suppliers, service providers and the whole family of firms that have been with us on this journey, and indeed our neighbours. Thank you for your ongoing interest in Parafix.
“In cricket, 50 is an achievement, but it is 100 that gets you on the Honours board and we look forward to getting there,” Punter concluded.
