Overview for 3M™ 9040

3M™ 9040 is a double sided, general purpose tape for lighter weight applications. It offers an excellent balance between high tack/initial adhesion and good room temperature shear resistance. 9040 tape has been developed for applications on various surfaces including low surface energy plastics like polyethylene and polypropylene. It is available in non-standard slit rolls, sheets and custom shapes.
