3M™ 1577 double sided medical tape consists of a polyester carrier, coated on one side with a synthetic rubber adhesive and the other side with an acrylate adhesive. The rubber adhesive adheres to a wide variety of substrates, including treated drape fabrics and polyethylene. The acrylate adhesive on the other side adheres securely to skin.

This tape is commonly used for device to skin and drape construction applications. It offers fluid resistance and can be sterilised by EtO and steam.

1577 tape is available in non-standard slit rolls, sheets and custom shapes.
