3M™ 1587 double sided medical tape consists of a polyester carrier coated with a synthetic rubber adhesive on one side and a non-tackified acrylic adhesive on the other. The synthetic rubber adhesive will bond to a wide variety of substrates, including treated drape fabrics and polyethylene. The acrylic adhesive adheres securely to skin, yet removes gently.

This tape is commonly used in device attachment to skin and drape construction applications.

1587 tape offers fluid resistance and can be sterilised by EtO and gamma. It is available in non-standard slit rolls, sheets and custom shapes.
