3M™ 8991 is a blue polyester tape with a silicone adhesive. It offers excellent thermal, abrasion and chemical resistance while maintaining its flexibility.

This product is used in a wide range of high temperature applications, including powder coat masking, flashbreaker and bag sealing applications. Other applications include, splicing, tabbing or roll closing silicone treated liners or materials.

8991 tape is available in non-standard slit rolls, sheets and custom shapes.
