Overview for 3M™ 966

3M™ 966 low outgassing transfer tape offers excellent solvent and UV resistance and is designed for temperature exposure to 232°C for short periods of time. It is ideal for high temperature attachment in aerospace and electronics industries and is commonly used for flex circuit attachment applications. 966 also meets NASA low outgassing specifications because of its excellent low outgassing properties. This product has exceptional shear values even at elevated temperatures and also offers an excellent bond to metal and high surface energy plastics. 966 transfer tape is available in non-standard slit rolls, sheets and custom shapes.
