3M™ GPH-160GF is a general purpose, high temperature VHB tape offering a good balance of high temperature, peel and shear performance. It is a conformable and soft acrylic foam with a high initial tack and good sealing properties.
This product is ideal for applications requiring multi-material bonding, with a high or medium surface energy, as it will bond to a variety of substrates, including metals and plastics.
Its temperature performance enables bonding of materials in applications with high operating temperatures such as prior to processing in a powder coating line. It is commonly used in applications in metal working, signage, appliances and specialty vehicles.
GPH-160GF is available in other thicknesses and in non-standard slit rolls, sheets and custom shapes.
