Overview for Aplix 840
Aplix 840 is a fire retardant hook and loop reclosable fastener. It is made from polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) and can be laminated with any adhesive to suit your application. This material is resistent to temerature up to 190C and melts at 285C. Aplix 840 is 3.2mm thick when mated and comes in tan. It is available in roll form or custom shapes. The pdf data sheet is available in two versions, to adhere to different standards: ABS 1133 and BMS 8-372.
