Parafix are delighted to announce the appointment of Louise Vincent as Marketing Associate at its head office in the UK. The appointment is in partnership with the University of Brighton and the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme.
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships is a national government scheme run by the Technology Strategy Board which provides up to 67% grant funding to enable companies to become more innovative, competitive and profitable by engaging in knowledge transfer with Universities.
This shorter KTP (sKTP) project runs for 40 weeks in which a five year strategic marketing plan will be produced for Parafix. The project aims to enable the company to innovate in sales and marketing to substantially increase revenue. Additionally, is the aim of analysing the company’s core competencies alongside a detailed customer needs analysis to ensure the focussed targeting of sales effort and for building on Parafix’s, already, high levels of customer care. Other analysis will include looking at potential markets in which Parafix could flourish.
Louise is a graduate from the University of Brighton having studied a Business with Marketing degree and gaining First Class Honours. She said of the appointment: “I have settled quickly and well into Parafix, working with a very friendly and professional team of people. I am enjoying putting theory into practice and gaining greater expertise in this field. I am also very happy to continue my relationship with the University of Brighton where I made many great contacts and friends”.
This is the second KTP partnership Parafix has been a part of and Mike Punter, Managing Director of Parafix, said: "Working with the University of Brighton has been a fantastic experience, allowing us to gain new skills within Parafix while also helping to progress the development of locally-based graduates. This latest project will greatly enhance our sales and marketing expertise and boost our five-year plan for stronger revenue figures”.
