In the first weekend of August, Worthing hosted the Street Velodrome, a new pop-up cycling event that has been taking place in various locations around the UK.
Parafix were proud sponsors of the Worthing Street Velodrome, which made participation of this type of event accessible, fun and engaging for all. Entry, equipment and coaching were all free and those with a competitive streak took part in the weekend’s tournament.
The event was situated close to Worthing’s sea front and attracted the largest Street Velodrome audience to date. Parafix employees were invited to use the track and enthusiastically raced against their colleagues and families. Children as young as two also took to the track, enjoying a few laps whilst their parents helped them along. It was great to give employees the opportunity and was thoroughly enjoyed by all; even those that fell off...twice!
