Parafix’s story featured on television and in a magazine
On the back of our 50th anniversary and the expansion in Hungary, two media outlets featured Parafix recently.
Manufacturing Today Europe published an editorial about the history and capabilities of Parafix, while a web-based TV channel WEB-TV Ercsi, based in Hungary, visited the site of our new factory and interviewed David Krasznay, General Manager of Parafix Hungary.
The Manufacturing Today piece featured Steve Barwick, General Manager of Parafix UK, who opined on our approach to engineering, “One of the biggest reasons for our longevity is that we have learnt how to evolve our technical competences and capabilities in line with our customers’ and their manufacturing needs. We have a phrase here that we use, which is ‘Imagineering’, and this very much speaks to the way that we work to respond to ever-changing demands, applications and challenges, by bringing our use of materials and our manufacturing capabilities along with our customers so as to provide them with unique solutions.”
WEB-TV Ercsi video focuses on Parafix’s plans with the new factory and the challenges we overcame along the way. David also spoke about the importance of staff expertise: as the adhesive tape conversion process requires a high level of technical know-how and takes years to master, we have been training staff from Ercsi at our existing Budapest facilities since the inception of this project several years ago. Parafix has a great staff retention, enabling us to carry forward the knowledge and help our customers with even their most challenging problems.
2019 has been very busy for Parafix, both in the UK and Hungary, and we are pleased to have had opportunities to present publicly what we have been up to lately.
