Product Spotlight: New 3M Medical Tape with 21 Day Extended Wear
3Mâ„¢ 4576 Single Coated Medical Nonwoven Tape with Acrylic Adhesive on Liner
3M already offers several products which can be worn up to 14 days, such as 4076 and 4077. However, with the wearables market rapidly moving towards even longer wear times, 3M recently launched a new medical tape with an extended wear time of up to 21 days wear on skin.
3M 4576 is a single sided polyester nonwoven acrylate medical tape. This tape can be used in medical applications requiring secure attachment of medical devices to skin for up to 3 weeks. 3M 4576 also has excellent adhesion to low surface energy materials, so it will suit a wide variety of devices. It can be sterilised with EtO and it offers great flexibility and conformity.
