3M™ 1115B is a smooth aluminium, EMI shielding foil tape, with a conductive acrylic adhesive on one side. The conductive particles in the adhesive provides low contact resistance between the substrate and the backing to drain static charge. The adhesive also has good resistance to heat, oxidation, solvents and oils.
1115B tape is typically used for applications requiring excellent electrical conductivity from the application substrate through the adhesive to the foil backing. The 0.15mm thickness provides exceptional EMI shielding effectiveness and exceptional structural support properties. The low electrical resistance makes this shielding tape an excellent choice for grounding applications.
1115B tape is available in non-standard slit rolls, sheets and custom shapes.
