Back in July, Parafix Hungary made the news again, this time relating to our second site in Ercsi, which is currently in construction.
Parafix drew the interest of local web-based TV channel WEB-TV Ercsi, due to the investment being made in the area. The TV crew visited the site to learn more, the report of which features an interview with Dávid Krasznay, General Manager, who discusses the project of expanding our presence in Hungary.
The construction and opening of the second site is one of the largest local developments in Ercsi; one which the Mayor of Ercsi and local Government sees as a huge help and a good opportunity for the local workforce looking for stable employment.
The news piece (in Hungarian) briefly describes our company, where we came from, where we stand and what our plans are for the future, with an emphasis on the importance of creating new jobs in areas outside the capital city Budapest.
The site will provide employment for up to 100 people, making Parafix the second largest company in the area and the largest in terms of the number of local employees.
In his interview, Dávid Krasznay discusses our commitment to the development of the area, including that we only employ from the local workforce that live in Ercsi. More than 30 people have already been hired, who are working at our Budapest site, receiving training and education on our machinery and the converting processes.
Dávid also takes the opportunity to express our appreciation of the help and support provided by the Ercsi Mayor’s office and the local Government, as well as underlining the importance of maintaining a good and stable relationship with the town’s leaders and, of course, the local community.
The construction work is already underway on the 2000 square metre building; the budget for which is approximately €1m. You can learn more about our investment here.
