3M™ 1345 EMI shielding tape has a dead soft, embossed tin-plated copper foil carrier, coated on one side with an acrylic adhesive. The tin-plating facilitates soldering to the backing and resists oxidation and corrosion. The embossed pattern through adhesive provides very low contact resistance between the substrate and the backing to drain static charge. It is typically used for applications requiring excellent electrical conductivity from the application substrate through the adhesive to the foil backing and common uses include grounding and EMI shielding in equipment, components and shielded rooms.
1345 tape has a UL510 flame rating and is available in non-standard slit rolls, sheets and custom shapes.
